These are the terms for using Notchi. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Your account

You sign up with a phone number and password. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you lose access to your phone number, there's currently no phone-number recovery — you'll need to sign up again with a new account.

Notchi Premium (subscriptions)

Notchi offers two auto-renewing subscription plans:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing.

You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. Refunds, where applicable, are issued by Apple according to Apple's own policies — we don't process refunds directly.

A subscription unlocks your pet after it hatches. If your subscription lapses, previously earned progress is not deleted, but the pet becomes inaccessible again until you resubscribe.

Acceptable use

Use Notchi the way it's meant to be used. Don't try to interfere with the app's systems, reverse engineer the practice-verification logic to falsify progress, or use the app in a way that disrupts it for other users.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all of your data from Account Settings inside the app. This cannot be undone, and it does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel that separately through your device settings if you don't want it to renew.

No warranty

Notchi is provided as-is. We work to keep it running reliably, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Notchi. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Notchi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
